BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (June 2025) — Mann & Potter, P.C. is proud to announce that John N. "Jack" Bryan Jr. has joined our dedicated team of personal injury attorneys, continuing a powerful legacy of justice-driven advocacy that runs deep in both his family and the Alabama legal community.

Jack is the son of the late Nat Bryan, a highly respected trial attorney and founding partner of Marsh, Rickard & Bryan. Nat was known across the state for his fearless representation of injured individuals and his deep commitment to doing right by his clients — values that live on in Jack’s approach to the law.

The announcement marks more than just a new hire; both Ted Mann and Robert Potter, founding partners of Mann & Potter, were longtime friends of Nat Bryan and his family. Over the years, the families traveled together, celebrated milestones, and shared not just friendship, but a vision of what practicing law should be: personal, principled, and client-centered.

Jack Bryan earned his B.S. from Auburn University and his J.D. from Birmingham School of Law, where he served as President of the Judge Hugh Locke Honor Society and Chief Justice of the Honor Court. Prior to law school, he worked in land and property management but always knew his true calling was to support those needing quality, steadfast advocacy.

At Mann & Potter, Jack will focus on personal injury, wrongful death, and products liability. He brings a calm, focused presence to his work, and a commitment to listening closely to clients and helping them navigate uncertain times with clarity and care.

Jack lives in Birmingham with his soon to be wife, Lucy Chen, Esq., and their two dogs, Misty and Moxie.
